This is so true and it saddens me to admit this.
I thought I understood Gun Violence, but I found out I didn’t know a damn thing until my own daughter was shot thru her chest with a .45 Caliber Handgun.

The round was a .45 Caliber Lawman Round.

And I never gave any caliber of round much thought.
My Retired LTC. Uncle always used to tell me this one experience of his and this is what he said-

During WWII, I saw a German Soldier’s leg blown off from a .45 Caliber round from one of our Soldiers.
It stuck in my mind. It always did. I always wondered if he was fibbing or not.
But I never gave much thought to a single pistol and it’s caliber.
And then-i didn’t much think about Gun Violence. No, I saw it in the News, but I still did not understand it. Just wasn’t my thing. I never gave it no nevermind.
This is so true. I thought I understood Gun Violence, but I found out I didn’t know a damn thing until my own daughter was shot thru her chest with a .45 Caliber Handgun.
Maybe you will be kinder, love a little more.
Why?
Gun Violence might take that opportunity to show love, give another hug, another kiss away from you at any moment on any day of the week.
Don’t wait, relate…
