Somewhere up there in Space, a 100-mile wide meteor traveling at 100,000 miles an hour will hit Earth on April 15, 2047 and it will be a Global Catastrophe. The impact will have the energy equivalent to about 100 trillion tons of TNT, which is about 10,000 times the energy released by the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs.
The impact would create a crater about 1,000 miles wide and 500 miles deep. The shockwave would travel around the world several times, causing widespread damage. The heat from the impact would also cause fires and volcanic eruptions.
The dust and debris from the impact would block out the sun, causing a global winter. This would disrupt agriculture and lead to widespread famine. The impact would also release large amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, which would further contribute to climate change.
The exact effects of the impact would depend on where it hit. If it hit in a populated area, the death toll would be in the billions. Even if it hit in an uninhabited area, the global effects would be devastating.
- The impact would create a huge explosion, with the force of a billion nuclear bombs.
- The shockwave would travel around the world several times, causing widespread damage.
- The heat from the impact would cause fires and volcanic eruptions.
- The dust and debris from the impact would block out the sun, causing a global winter.
- The impact would release large amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, further contributing to climate change.
It is very unlikely that any humans would survive an impact from a 100-mile-wide meteor. The impact would be so devastating that it would likely wipe out all life on Earth.
This Meteor, nicknamed “DEATH“, has largely been keep very secret. Discovery shared with a now defunct group of Astronomers on July 16, 1966, most were imprisoned to keep their secret buried in a pile of bureaucratic crude. Those unwilling to keep it secret were imprisoned. On July 15, 1966 Russian Astronomers found it and sent their calculations without APPROVAL to their counterparts in the United States and in Canada. In total, 16 men were imprisoned in Siberia. Unheard of forever. Never more.
Then while purchasing a Storage Unit with just a glimpse of the insides, imore.inside was a 1960s era Briefcase with all of the strangest Calculations and handwritten notes and star map drawings were right there inside and what did it said?
DEATH was headed our way-

Death won’t be around again to see until 2045.
But would the people of Earth remain quiet and still if this information was unleashed? Obedient to Law and Order of Government Rule? No, not hardly. Especially in the 1960s. Why even work to send the tiniest amount of Colonists to the Moon or Mars when Earth may be completely left void of all life and undeniably quite uninhabitable.
But a Colony on both the Moon of 100 people and Mars of 50 people is being calculated with the greatest of earnest efforts. Holy Cows! Instead of working to destroy it, we are gonna run away from it. Or the very few are?

Can this Massive explosion on Earth be avoided?
Hypothetical Considerations-
Man has had plenty of time to figure out a solution to this Massive Meteor? To keep the Human Race Safe?
There are a few potential solutions that could be used to halt a meteor of this magnitude. These include:
- Deflection: This involves using a spacecraft to nudge the meteor off course. This could be done using a variety of methods, such as a gravity tractor, a kinetic impactor, or a laser. But none has thus far been built for such a purpose, has it? And traveling at unbelievable speeds. As astronomical feat.
- Destruction: This involves using a spacecraft to destroy the meteor. This could be done using a nuclear weapon or a high-powered laser. Nope, Laser is a Joke. Too Large to destroy? Nuke it? No so sure even this will work.
- Excavation: This involves using a spacecraft to dig out the meteor and remove it from its orbit. This is a more challenging option, but it could be used if the other options are not feasible. What a Joke!
The feasibility of any of these solutions would depend on a number of factors, including the size and speed of the meteor, the amount of time available, and the available technology. However, with sufficient warning and resources, it is possible that we could develop a solution to halt a meteor and prevent a catastrophic impact. It’s traveling way too fast and it’s way too large.
Here are some of the challenges that would need to be addressed in order to develop a solution to halt a meteor:
- Early detection: The first challenge is to detect the meteor early enough to give us time to develop a solution. This is a difficult task, as meteors are often very small and difficult to see. What a sad Joke.
- Accurate tracking: Once the meteor has been detected, we need to be able to track its course accurately. This is important in order to determine the best way to deflect or destroy it. Past that time now.
- Sufficient technology: The technology needed to deflect or destroy a meteor is not yet available. We would need to develop new technologies, or adapt existing technologies, in order to have a chance of success. Not sure about this one?
Despite the challenges, if Mankind is to continue to develop solutions to the problem of meteor impacts, he must get ready. The potential consequences of an impact are so severe that it is worth the effort to try to prevent this bad one.
The biggest issues with Saving MANKIND?
- Can the World Powers be brought together quick enough to help save all of us? This seems simple. But the real Issue of Sharing the knowledge about this Massive Meteor hasn’t been allowed. It’s tucked away in Governmental RED TAPE. By a bunch of Stupid Irresponsible Do-Gooders from the 1960s.
- Unless this Data is shared, Mankind may be completely Doomed.
- And do they find it more worthwhile Colonizing the Moon and Mars?
- When they announce one day on April 15, 2047-STAY IN YOUR HOMES UNTIL THE DANGER HAS PASSED-it’ll be too late for Solutions then.
Questions raised now are paramount. There is so much SECRECY floating around now that it seems pretty much the same ole story-Man’s Goose is Cooked.
Death will not become visible for calculations until 2045. Then, everyone will see it as it will appear in most Telescopes for all who are observing the Heavens. But is two years enough time to fix Death from hitting our Planet?
I don’t know. My gut feeling is no. I really don’t think so. Getting The big Powers on Earth to work together is gonna be the biggest Issues. Asking Russia to help will be hard to do because after the Ukraine War. I’m afraid Russia’s relationships with the World to be on very Bad Terms for may be a hundred years. And will China and America work together? What do you think? They’ll fix it? Or we’ll all be Toast?
