ALERT! Has your Cell Phone’s Battery ever BURST? Bursting thru the Protect Case and Bursting the Side Wide Open? Caused a Fire?

I’m writing about this because I sincerely care about you, your family, and also, all of my Readers. Call this a Safety Notice that you should care enough about to share with your family members and friends. Don’t miss this opportunity. It’s okay to say something. Please do. What you are about to read is the real deal. Not made up, not any sort of trickery and it could have been quite bad.

Here’s what happened-

You reach over and pick up your Cell Phone and suddenly, it Bursts Open on one side. Blows the Protective Housing Split Open. The Above Picture is my cell phone with the Back Cover off showing the Swollen Battery(LG BL-T37) on my LG V40 ThinQ. Pretty isn’t it? No, it’s absolutely not pretty at all. The phone is Busted as all get out now. And it’s in a very dangerous State of Being. It can still explode! Cause a Fire!

And has this ever happened to you?

It did to me yesterday right after my wife had done our Online Grocery Shopping. And she had just handed me the cell phone and then watch it Explode in my Hand. It was a big Burst with lots of pressure hurting my left index finger on the fingerprint side. It is bruised today.

If you ever see your Cell Phone like this issue I have now, please DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CELL PHONE IN THE CHARGER AND PUT IT IN A SAFE PLACE WHERE IS IF CATCHES FIRE, IT WON’T BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN OR be the cause of your home burning down. Otherwise, you could wake up to a burning inferno. Caused by your best little buddy-your Cell Phone.

That’s right, she had just handed me the cell phone and then it burst open. Burst Open, Splitting the Side Wide Open! With quite an amount of force even Bursting thru and Breaking the Cirrus2 Rubber Safety Protection Case the phone was wrapped in for protection. Mostly from dropping and such. But was it dropped? No, it wasn’t.

BEWARE! This is not a JOKE!

IF YOU SEE THIS, YOUR CELL PHONE IS UNSAFE AND COULD COMPLETELY eXPLoDe! Catch Fire. I’m thinkin now that under NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD you Ever Leave Your Cell Phone Charging unattended! NO MORE UNATTENDED CELL PHONE CHARGING! Otherwise the Cell Phone you left in the other room charging overnight may cause a House Fire that can hurt or kill you or someone you love.

Above is a New Battery that is NOT SWOLLEN!

A swollen battery is a serious safety hazard, and you should stop using your phone immediately. A swollen battery can burst or leak, which could cause burns, fire, or other injuries.

There are a few reasons why a phone battery might swell. One possibility is that the battery is old and has degraded over time. Recalls of cell phone batteries in recent years. Here are a few examples:

  • Samsung Galaxy Note7: In 2016, Samsung recalled the Galaxy Note7 smartphone after reports of the batteries overheating and catching fire. The recall affected over 2.5 million phones worldwide.
  • FedEx Supply Chain: In 2017, FedEx Supply Chain recalled batteries that were placed into refurbished AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 4 cellphones. The batteries were counterfeit and showed anomalies that could lead the batteries to overheat.
  • Endliss Technology Trianium Battery Phone Cases: In 2021, Endliss Technology recalled Trianium battery phone cases for all types of mobile phones. The cases were recalled due to reports of the batteries overheating and causing burn injuries.

But when I went looking for a New Battery, I saw huge numbers of the same battery I need that have already been purchased. That’s strange? Does LG have a Cell Phone Battery Issue and it just hasn’t leaked out yet? Maybe why they bounced out of the Cell Phone Industry when they knew that there was a known issue with their Product? Get out before they got Caught? No issue, but now, I must ask? How many people have had a Fire take place and it was the Cell Phone Battery? So, is anyone else suffering from their Cell Phone’s Battery Swelling? Catching Fire? Exploding Open?

When I bought this LG V40ThinQ Cell Phone, the Salesman at VERIZON told me the great thing with buying this particular cell phone is that you’ll never ever need to change to the Battery. And when I called VERIZON Store and talked to the same Salesman who SOLD it to me, I asked-Have you seen more of these phones with Swollen Batteries come in to see You. And he said that He Had. And I asked HOW MANY? And he said All I can say is that I have seen others. WOW! Give that man a CIGAR-what Amazing Company Protection thru his words. He knows which side his bread is getting buttered on.

There are a few different organizations that you can report a cell phone battery bursting open to.

Folks, this is some serious stuff. I cannot overemphasize any of this. You or your family might be in more Danger than you think-

According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), there were an estimated 2,000 cell phone battery fires in the United States between 2010 and 2020. Of those fires, 90 resulted in injuries and 11 resulted in deaths.

The NFPA also reports that cell phone battery fires are becoming more common. In 2020, there were an estimated 500 more cell phone battery fires than in 2019.

There are a number of factors that can contribute to cell phone battery fires, including:

  • Overcharging: Overcharging a cell phone battery can cause it to overheat and catch fire.
  • Physical damage: Dropping or otherwise damaging a cell phone battery can also cause it to overheat and catch fire.
  • Manufacturing defects: In some cases, cell phone batteries may have manufacturing defects that can lead to fires.

If you are concerned about the risk of a cell phone battery fire, there are a few things you can do to reduce the risk:

  • Avoid overcharging your cell phone battery.
  • Do not leave your cell phone in direct sunlight.
  • Do not drop or otherwise damage your cell phone.
  • Only buy cell phone batteries from reputable retailers.

If you see a cell phone battery that is swelling or leaking, do not use the phone and do not try to puncture or open the battery. Instead, contact the manufacturer of your phone for assistance.

There are a few reasons why a cell phone battery might swell up. Some of the most common causes include:

  • Overcharging: Overcharging a cell phone battery can cause it to overheat and swell. This is because the battery is constantly generating gas, which can build up and cause the battery to expand.
  • Physical damage: Dropping or otherwise damaging a cell phone battery can also cause it to swell. This is because the damage can create a short circuit, which can heat up the battery and cause it to swell.
  • Manufacturing defects: In some cases, cell phone batteries may have manufacturing defects that can lead to swelling. This is because the battery may not be able to handle the heat generated during charging or use.
  • Natural aging: As cell phone batteries age, they can start to swell. This is because the chemicals inside the battery start to break down, which can create gas and cause the battery to expand. And will this also happen in your EV vehicle? Probably. Now, I won’t be buying an EV>

If you see a cell phone battery that is swelling up, do not use the phone and do not try to puncture or open the battery. Instead, contact the manufacturer of your phone for assistance.

Here are some additional things to know about swollen batteries:

  • Swollen batteries can be very dangerous. If you see a swollen battery, do not use the device and do not try to puncture or open the battery.
  • Swollen batteries can leak chemicals that can cause burns, fires, or other injuries.
  • If a swollen battery does burst or leak, it is important to ventilate the area immediately and to seek medical attention if necessary.

If you have any questions or concerns about a swollen battery, you should contact your phone manufacturer or a qualified repair technician.

But DON’T TRY TO USE THE PHONE ANY MORE if the side suddenly BURST OPEN. The Cell Phone Battery is Swelling! Or Swollen! IT IS MORE DANGEROUS THAN YOU MIGHT REALIZE. Battery Acid into your eyes or on your face could be irreversible.
Imagine this happening to you while your Driving and that Bursting Cell Phone is NEXT to your ear. What might happen? Might be very bad. Use your smarts and don’t Drive and Talk on your Cell Phone. And yeah, I know we all do it. I turn my on and drop it into my shirt pocket and talk. I don’t have none of that fancy stuff lots of folks have.

But smile, get happy, now you know, so now read a great book and digest on some good love stories you gonna want to read before your friend tells you some “hot steam” things-
