It’s 2023, don’t forget the Year you read this-

There are a number of reasons why politicians have not done more to prepare for the impending Implosion headed upon the 🇺🇸 social security systems.
- Political will: There is a lack of political will to make the difficult decisions that would be necessary to prepare for the future of social security. These decisions would likely involve raising taxes, cutting benefits, or both. Politicians are reluctant to make these decisions, as they are unpopular with voters.
- Short-term thinking: Politicians are often focused on the short-term, and they are reluctant to make changes that will not have an immediate impact. The problems facing social security are long-term, and it is difficult for politicians to focus on these problems when they are more concerned with the next election.
- Complexity: The problems facing social security are complex, and there is no easy solution. This makes it difficult for politicians to agree on a course of action. There are many different stakeholders with different interests, and it is difficult to find a solution that will satisfy everyone.
Despite these challenges, it is important for politicians to start preparing for the future of social security. The longer they wait, the more difficult the problems will become. There are a number of things that politicians can do to start preparing, such as:
- Starting a dialogue with the public: Politicians need to start a dialogue with the public about the future of social security. They need to explain the problems that the system is facing and the options that are available. This will help to build public support for the difficult decisions that will need to be made.
- Making small changes: Politicians can start by making small changes to the social security system. These changes can help to address the immediate problems facing the system and buy some time to make more comprehensive changes.
- Investing in research: Politicians should invest in research into the future of social security. This research will help to better understand the problems facing the system and the options that are available.
- Misdirection: Politicians are now engaging in current Political Agenda Items rather that work on a Bipartisan and concerned effort to work together to prevent an Implosion headed to disrupt the Lives of Millions of Social Security Entitled Americans. Ignoring is proven Ignorance. And the Politicians appear to be exhibiting a lot of that willingly.
The future of social security is uncertain, but it is important for politicians to start preparing for the challenges that lie ahead. Or a full blown Death Blow could hit Social Security in the upcoming future? By taking action now, Politicians, our Elected Officials, can help to ensure that the system is sustainable for future generations.
