More from the report: “Trump allies on Capitol Hill have privately lobbied the former president to come out vocally against any Senate compromise as he rails on immigration on the campaign trail and has little appetite for giving President Joe Biden a victory on the hot-button issue.” This is a reminder that Trump and many MAGA Republicans do not want to solve the crisis at the border. They just want to use it for political purposes and to raise more money. What a disgrace! This is why so many Americans don’t have any trust in Congress.
