Brazos Valley is our home and all the area Cities come here to Bryan or College Station for food, vehicles, entertainment and Sports. And we are Blessed to have so much. But, our Border is being hammered at our Border by lots of folks who want to become Americans or simply want to work here. And in Jobs you don’t want! And who wouldn’t want a better life? We all do. But fixing our Border Issues isn’t more RAZOR Wire. As a Veteran, razor wire irks me and there are other means to keep a person out? But Fixing the Issue, although complex, it is doable. But it takes Money Freed up to do this and Not more Troops or DPS Troopers. It’s called more Border workers and more Judges to hear the Requests by these Wannabe Citizens in an effective, efficient manner. Streamlining the entire process is the Golden Task. And you Bet, there are illegal Wannabe Citizens here in the Brazos Valley that are invisible to most of us. Once outside Uvalde, before my father died there, I counted over 250 Migrant Workers being smuggled by a Lever Rifle carrying Mule and I watched them climb up a 20′ rope ladder on the bank of a river to go work in one of the fields needing picking for food for us to eat. For them to walk that distance just to work in the Vegetable Fields for our food was an impressive feat of sweat and determinations. So, Brazos Valley, count our Blessings, how good we do have it, and Ask Congress to actually fix the Issues and drop the macho river boat/razor wire tactics. Just do it. Simply do it.
