Everyone is either working hard or angered by not having any work. It is a time of many powerful events challenging America and the Cold War is blistering to a fever pitch. The Soviet Union and America are engaging each other in cat and mouse games of dangerous war tactics where young men and women are being killed away from the General Public’s eye. A Soviet Nuclear Submarine Base being built on the coast of Mexico only adds to the furious nature of this novel and the Cold War.
