NUCLEAR FALLOUT-America’s Society is woefully prepared for Nuclear War!

Once, the American Government provided information for this-prepared a lot of Awareness. Even FEMA’s pamphlets are from 2007. 14 years old! And sure, they keep doing the Emergency Test on your TV, but what else has the Government said about Nuclear Fallout?

Not a Damn Thing!

And who has one? Not many!

Before 1963, the United States and other countries conducted more than 500 nuclear weapons tests in the atmosphere. During these tests, radioactive particles and gases were spread in the atmosphere. Depending on the size and type of weapon that was exploded, some of these particles and gases traveled great distances before falling to earth (called fallout) where people could be exposed to the radiation.

Radioactive fallout was deposited all over the world, so many people were exposed to it. Even today, radioactive fallout is present in all parts of the world in small amounts. CDC and NCI, in their study of global fallout, looked only at fallout in the contiguous United States (the 48 states between Canada and Mexico). The study found that any person living in the contiguous United States since 1951 has been exposed to some radioactive fallout, and all of a person’s organs and tissues have received some exposure.

Nuclear Fallout is a serious threat and most people wouldn’t be adequately prepared. Here are some points to consider:

Lack of Shelters:

  • Cold War Era Shelters: Many public fallout shelters built during the Cold War are no longer functional or up to code.
  • Private Shelters: Building a proper fallout shelter is expensive and requires expertise.

Alternative Preparations:

  • Fallout Doesn’t Last Forever: While the initial period after a detonation is most dangerous, fallout decays over time. Sheltering for a few days can significantly reduce exposure.
  • Improvised Sheltering: Basements offer some protection compared to upper floors. Buildings with thicker central cores provide more shielding.
  • Stockpiling Supplies: Having a stockpile of food, water, and basic medical supplies can be crucial during any disaster.

Societal Impacts:

  • Infrastructure Damage: Nuclear detonation would likely cause widespread damage to infrastructure, making communication and transportation difficult. No Electricity. No Working Communication Devices Working. Radio and TV are Dead. Satellites are Dead. Most Vehicles will not run. Short Wave Radio ONLY. Gas pumps won’t work. Water won’t run. Cell Phones won’t work. And Food is contaminated. Even in the cans.
  • Mass Evacuation Challenges: Large-scale evacuations would be chaotic and potentially deadly on their own.
  • Medical Strain: Hospitals would likely be overwhelmed after a nuclear attack.

Further Research Points:

The American Government has failed all Americans because Americans are NOT prepared! We get a Big Fat “F” for unpreparedness from nuclear fallout.

An alpha strike is a preemptive attack on a hostile enemy, first targeting their nuclear weapons and military assets. This, in theory, would prevent the enemy from retaliating with their entire arsenal, cutting projected deaths to more “acceptable” levels (albeit still in the millions, in most cases).

Russia is highly prepared!
