Grandpa Brown’s Mighty Pleasing Super Stuffed Baked Potatoes above and his Country Fried Steak Fingers

What will you NEED?

  1. Buy the 4-pack Baked Potaoes!
  2. One large Onion.
  3. One large Bell Pepper.
  4. One Hormel Package of Sliced Bacon!
  5. Sour Cream.
  6. Salt-Free Butter.
  7. Paprika.
  8. Pepper.
  9. NO SALT! Your Bacon is gonna have enough Salt already.
  10. Milk

Now first things First!

Preheat your Oven to 400 Degrees

Wash those potatoes GOOD. Prick them too with a knife or fork. About two times each. Put them in the Oven on the Oven Rack.

Slice Bell Pepper and Onion into ready to Sauteed Pieces.

COOK that Package of Bacon, Pull Back out Bacon from frying pan when it’s crispy.

Now, toss in your Bell Pepper and Onions after Bacon is cooked. Add 3 TBS of Butter and Sauteed that stuff.

COOK Potatoes for One Hour but check at 50 minutes too. When you get a sqashy feeling, they are READY to take out. I use a cooking hand pad to grab and to check potatoes. Or I put two sheets of paper towel and check to see if they are cooked.

Okay, they are Cooked! Now what?

Lower Oven Temp to 350 and then-

Cut the potatoes in Half long ways!

Now, Scoop out all of the potato insides and don’t destroy the Potato peeling because you are gonna put all of that stuff back inti the empty potato peelings.

Now Scoop all that Hot Potato Insides into a Large Mixing Bowl. I use a big Pyrex Mixing Bowl.

Crush up your Bacon.

Add 1/2 of all your crushed up into pieces Bacon into the Mixing Bowl.

Add 1/2 Cup Milk.

Add 1/2-1 Cup of Sour Cream. It’s up to you depending if you like Sour Cream.

Add 1 Tablespoon of Table Pepper. I use McCormick. And it’s always just right. Cheap Brands just won’t do and don’t taste right or as Good.

Add 3-6TBS of your fresh cooked Bacon Grease.

Add 1TBS of Paprika to your mixing Bowl.

Add 1-Cup of Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese.

Now, MIX That ALL UP with your Electric Cake Mixing Twirly Things under that Electric Motor with a hand holding spot so you can hold in your hand.

Just long enough to mix it all up. NOT LONG Enough to make Mashed Potatoes

Now, with all of your peeling on your Big Cookie Sheet Pan, you got all of your empty Potatoes Peeling Telling you-

HEY YOU, the Cook, FILL ME UP?

So, Scoop all that Mixed Up good stuff back into all of those potato peelings.

And you got them all lined up looking so pretty.

NOW, Time to add the Real Goodies.

On the Top of Each Potato, fork over some Sauteed Onions and Sauteed Bell Pepper on top of each Potato Half.

Now Add Shredded Cheese and Bacon Pieces on top of each Potato Half

How much Cheese Depends on YOU! If you and your folks are eating then fresh out of the Oven, then cheese amount doesn’t matter. But if it’s gonna be a while before eating, remember cheese starts to get harder as it sits out. And a lot might not be so hot.

But dang, People LOVE BACON. The more the merrier!

Now slide them suckers back into the Oven on that cookie sheet pan for at least 15 minutes.

Hooray!

Pull them out, put them on Plates or a Flat Serving Dish and

then Eat those suckas

Enjoy! From this 70-year old Grandpa
