“FAR HAVEN” is a Solid Old West Movie

Simple description-In 1887, Hunter Braddock moves back to Far Haven, Ariz., to start over with his two young children. When his father-in-law is brutally attacked, he must take on the corrupt forces strangling the town to protect what he loves most.

But now for a deeper look!

After serving two years in a territorial prison in Yuma, Arizona for a crime he didn’t commit, Hunter Braddock is released in 1887.[2] He moves to the Arizona town of Far Haven to start a new life with his two young children.[3]

Shortly after arriving in the peaceful town of Far Haven, his father-in-law is attacked by a raiding party. In order to protect the ones he loves the most, Braddock must confront marauders and corruption strangling the town.[4]

But let’s go deeper!

FAR HAVEN is a Solid Old West Western. It covers a lot of ground in a short time. Hunter Braddock basically has PTSD with Psychotic Episodes. I know, I do too. And this means he has strong memories of dramatic images of traumatic events that he witnessed. Haunting memories. And his is witnessing and refusing to participate in a wholesale Slaughtering of an American Indian Village by the Union Troops killing helpless women, men, and children. It was a Massacre and he deserts. And he heads back home. But the Military wants their Blood and go and arrest him and slam him into Prison. And when he returns to the town of Far Haven, he is greeted with Hate and words like-

COWARD, DESERTER, TRAITOR.

But the town has been taken over by a Rich Man and the Sheriff. And they have a group of marauding men acting as Indians to attack any Rancher or Business that doesn’t pay Protection Money.

Well, the Stagecoach is robbed and men are killed and the school teacher is kidnapped. And so, Hunter Braddock and several others join forces and go after the marauders. And it’s a good fight, shoot’em up action scene. And Hunter is finally made Sheriff.

But besides the storyline, I have to applaud the Filming and the very good storyline. A superb Script. The words spoken are so perfectly believable. They fit right into place. Actors and Actresses are very good. Stunts are good. Again, I say-“FAR HAVEN” is a Solid Old West Movie. No, it’s not a Blockbuster, but it’s very watchable and ready for you and that hot bowl of Popcorn. So, get ready and have an enjoyable watch. I know I did and I plan to watch it again.

It’s always fun watching the main character not taking shit off anyone. He’s a real Man. An honorable man seeking forgiveness from a higher authority than man. And it’s not thrown in your face, so it works good. He’s one tough Hombre.

A Great Cast-You know these folks-

And I have to say, I immediately looked to see if a sequel was lined up? Nothing yet. But a Netflix Series could be done as well. But nothing yet.
