A Bomb Too Far…by the living breathing James Brown, US Army Veteran, author of A Panther’s Father Book Series

I will present certain information, but before I continue with today’s discussion on a very bothersome issue resting among many Nations and upon the shoulders of every single human on this earth today-Little Boy and Fat Man only opened the door that can never be closed.  I am writing this as a Tribute to the Men, Women, and Children who lost their lives at Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan and the lives of the Americans that delivered the bomb and all of the lives that the Use of these Bombs spared.  It is estimated that between 16-65 million would have been killed in a long drawn-out continuation of WWII on Japanese Soil had the use of these two bombs been held back.  So, the bombs halted and yet, it was A Bomb Too Far

A Bomb Too Far…

But before I continue, I want to share with you images of both Nagasaki and Hiroshima before the two Blasts that ended WWII.  And why am I showing you this?

Friends, I know the bombs were used to stop the wholesale slaughter of American, Allied, and Japanese Troops and Japanese Civilians which would have occurred if Japan had been attacked by Land and Sea.  But there is a side that few ever portray and that is the Human Side of the Japanese that were killed or died later or injured.

It is a chilling thing to see in images and WWII was every bit a World at War.  But, please look slowly at the photos below.  Study each one and think for a minute.  Put yourself in one of them and your life is about to vanish.  Which person could you be if you were born and living in Hiroshima or Nagasaki a day before the bomb was used on each City?  Yes, which one could you be?  The man below?  The young boy?  One of the women?  Someone on the Trolley?  Who?

Yes, seeing is knowing and now, you are viewing the human side that they never teach or taught any of us Americans in School and why was that?  I don’t know, you please tell me.  Okay?  But let’s take a long look at each photo.

Too Often, all of these talks and discussions of Super Bomb Use only want to SHOW ALL OF US THE SHEAR MIGHT AND DESTRUCTIVE POWER OF THESE DEVICES and not the beautiful lives that once were.  People were very much alive before each was dropped.

Does that young boy in the above picture think that a bomb of such incredibly power will be dropped and all that he knew, heard, saw, and lived will vanish in mere seconds?

No, of course not, but that is what did take place and now, did he make it?

I am not here to toil with your intelligence.  I see what you see. I see Life in its fullest in these images above and I know that none of can say which died and which might have survived.
But why show them?  Yes, why, indeed?

Because this write is a I want to help all Governments all over the World realize the full impacting, consequential consequences that use of just one, only one, of these bombs will bring if used today.  World condemnation will be absolutely horrific to all where people will be in Life to the fullest before they are vaporized or must later suffer one of the irreversible Diseases associated with them.  Juvenile Nations are more apt to sneak the use of one in on the World and they will claim all forms of Falseness of Cause.

Hiroshima2

Nagasaki

Can they be avoided?

Yes, and even the Above Ground Testing which was halted because they finally realized Mankind’s fate of this Above Ground Folly was affecting the entire World and one of the worst Diseases ever created made a sudden and dramatic appearance and still lives with mankind today and that is Leukemia among others.

But right now, Man has done a great job of not using another one of these bombs on another City.  On another Country.  And that is very good.  But many Countries want them so bad that they would give anything to have one or two or a hundred or a thousand.  A Bomb Too Far is wanted by most Nations except the ones that realized the fullness of the Controls and Security that must be maintained around them.

And then what will they have if they get just ONE?

An entirely New Mess of the most Messy Stuff in the World cause this stuff does not have a LASTING SHELF LIFE.  No, this stuff will go bad and will go foul.  And who wants to be ones that have to RECHARGE THE STUFF to keep them functioning?

Superman might, but Opps!  He is fictional.

And the stuff loves getting into underground water supplies like as if a magic wand was just up and let loose in all directions and then folks and animals and fish and birds can’t survive on that bad water from the contamination that is associated with the creation, keeping, and recharging these bombs.

But let me now continue with the discussion with some more technical material for those of you who are more of the Dr. Frankenstein entanglement type and want to know-

HOW I DID IT?

Yes, just how did Dr. Frankenstein make just these two bombs?  Truthful or false?  Who knows?  I am a nobody and I know nothing for sure.  Do you?

And here’s an exert and diagram from the following site-

FAT MAN-“Fat Man” was the code name for the nuclear bomb that was detonated over the Japanese city of Nagasaki by the United States on 9 August 1945.

The bomb was 128 inches (3,300 mm) long and 60 inches (1,500 mm) in diameter. It weighed 10,300 pounds (4,700 kg).[28]

The plutonium pit[22] was 3.62-inch (92 mm) in diameter and contained an “Urchin” modulated neutron initiator that was 0.8-inch (20 mm) in diameter. The depleted uranium tamper was a 8.75-inch (222 mm) diameter sphere, surrounded by a 0.125-inch (3.2 mm) thick shell of boron-impregnated plastic. The plastic shell had a 5-inch (130 mm) diameter cylindrical hole running through it, like the hole in a cored apple, in order to allow insertion of the pit as late as possible. The missing tamper cylinder containing the pit could be slipped in through a hole in the surrounding 18.5-inch (470 mm) diameter aluminum pusher.[29] The pit was warm to touch, emitting 2.4 W/kg-Pu, about 15 W for the 6.19 kilograms (13.6 lb) core.[30]

The explosion symmetrically compressed the plutonium to twice its normal density before the “Urchin” added free neutrons to initiate a fission chain reaction.[31]

  •   An exploding-bridgewire detonator simultaneously starts a detonation wave in each of the 32 tapered high-explosive columns (positioned around the explosive material at the face centers of a truncated icosahedron,[32] a geometry popularly known from the pattern of common soccer balls).
  •   The detonation wave (arrows) is initially convex in the…
  •   …faster explosive (Composition B: 60% RDX, 40% TNT).[32] The wavefronts become concave in the…
  •   …slower explosive (Baratol: 70% barium nitrate, 30% TNT).[32] The 32 waves then merge into a single spherical implosive shock-wave which hits the…
  •   …inner charges’ faster explosive (Composition B).[29]
  •   The medium-density aluminum “pusher” transfers the imploding shock-wave from the low-density explosive to the high-density uranium, minimizing undesirable turbulence.[33] The shock-wave then compresses the inner components, passing through a…
  •   …boron-plastic shell intended to prevent pre-detonation of the bomb by stray neutrons.[33] The shock-wave reaches the center of the bomb, where the…
  •   …beryllium210Po “Urchin” is crushed,[34] pushing the two metals together and thereby releasing a burst of neutrons into the compressed…
  •   …pit of the nickel-plated delta-phase alloy of 239Pu240Pugallium (96%–1%–3% by molarity).[35][36] A fission chain reaction then begins. The tendency of the fissioning pit to blow itself apart prematurely is reduced by the inward momentum of the…
  •   …natural-uranium “tamper” (inertial confinement). The tamper also reflects neutrons back into the pit, accelerating the chain reaction. If and when sufficient fast neutrons are produced, the tamper itself undergoes fission, accounting for up to 20% of the weapon’s yield.[31]

The result was the fission of about 1 kilogram (2.2 lb) of the 6.19 kilograms (13.6 lb) of plutonium in the pit, i.e. of about 16% of the fissile material present. 1 gram (0.035 oz) of matter in the bomb is converted into the active energy of heat and radiation, releasing the energy equivalent to the detonation of 21 kilotons of TNT or 88 terajoules.[37]

Little Boy-“Little Boy” was the code name for the type of atomic bomb dropped on the Japanese city of Hiroshima on 6 August 1945 during World War II. It was the first nuclear weapon used in warfare.

The following pictures and exert are from-

Assembly details

Inside the weapon, the uranium-235 material was divided into two parts, following the gun principle: the “projectile” and the “target”. The projectile was a hollow cylinder with 60% of the total mass (38.5 kg (85 lb)). It consisted of a stack of nine uranium rings, each 6.25-inch (159 mm) in diameter with a 4-inch (100 mm) bore in the center, and a total length of 7 inches (180 mm), pressed together into the front end of a thin-walled projectile 16.25 inches (413 mm) long. Filling in the remainder of the space behind these rings in the projectile was a tungsten carbide disc with a steel back. At ignition, the projectile slug was pushed 42 inches (1,100 mm) along the 72-inch (1,800 mm) long, 6.5-inch (170 mm) smooth-bore gun barrel. The slug “insert” was a 4 inches (100 mm) cylinder, 7 inches (180 mm) in length with a 1 inch (25 mm) axial hole. The slug comprised 40% of the total fissile mass (25.6 kg or 56 lb). The insert was a stack of six washer-like uranium discs somewhat thicker than the projectile rings that were slid over a 1 inch (25 mm) rod. This rod then extended forward through the tungsten carbide tamper plug, impact-absorbing anvil, and nose plug backstop, eventually protruding out of the front of the bomb casing. This entire target assembly was secured at both ends with locknuts.[24][25]

When the hollow-front projectile reached the target and slid over the target insert, the assembled super-critical mass of uranium would be completely surrounded by a tamper and neutron reflector of tungsten carbide and steel, both materials having a combined mass of 2,300 kg (5,100 lb).[26] Neutron initiators at the base of the projectile were activated by the impact.[27]

Counter-intuitive design

For the first fifty years after 1945, every published description and drawing of the Little Boy mechanism assumed that a small, solid projectile was fired into the center of a larger, stationary target.[28] However, critical mass considerations dictated that in Little Boy the larger, hollow piece would be the projectile. The assembled fissile core had more than two critical masses of uranium-235. This required one of the two pieces to have more than one critical mass, with the larger piece avoiding criticality prior to assembly by means of shape and minimal contact with the neutron-reflecting tungsten carbide tamper.

A hole in the center of the larger piece dispersed the mass and increased the surface area, allowing more fission neutrons to escape, thus preventing a premature chain reaction.[29] But, for this larger, hollow piece to have minimal contact with the tamper, it must be the projectile, since only the projectile’s back end was in contact with the tamper prior to detonation. The rest of the tungsten carbide surrounded the sub-critical mass target cylinder (called the “insert” by the designers) with air space between it and the insert. This arrangement packs the maximum amount of fissile material into a gun-assembly design.[29]

Fuze system

Arming plugs for a Little Boy type atomic bomb on display at the National Air and Space Museum‘s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.

The fuzing system was designed to trigger at the most destructive altitude, which calculations suggested was 580 metres (1,900 ft). It employed a three-stage interlock system:[30]

  • A timer ensured that the bomb would not explode until at least fifteen seconds after release, one-quarter of the predicted fall time, to ensure safety of the aircraft. The timer was activated when the electrical pull-out plugs connecting it to the airplane pulled loose as the bomb fell, switching it to internal (24V battery) power and starting the timer. At the end of the 15 seconds, the bomb would be 3,600 feet (1,100 m) from the aircraft, and the radar altimeters were powered up and responsibility was passed to the barometric stage.[30]
  • The purpose of the barometric stage was to delay activating the radar altimeter firing command circuit until near detonation altitude. A thin metallic membrane enclosing a vacuum chamber (a similar design is still used today in old-fashioned wall barometers) gradually deformed as ambient air pressure increased during descent. The barometric fuze was not considered accurate enough to detonate the bomb at the precise ignition height, because air pressure varies with local conditions. When the bomb reached the design height for this stage (reportedly 2,000 metres, 6,600 ft), the membrane closed a circuit, activating the radar altimeters. The barometric stage was added because of a worry that external radar signals might detonate the bomb too early.[30]
  • Two or more redundant radar altimeters were used to reliably detect final altitude. When the altimeters sensed the correct height, the firing switch closed, igniting the three BuOrd Mk15, Mod 1 Navy gun primers in the breech plug, which set off the charge consisting of four silk powder bags each containing two pounds of WM slotted-tube cordite. This launched the uranium projectile towards the opposite end of the gun barrel at an eventual muzzle velocity of 300 metres per second (980 ft/s). Approximately 10 milliseconds later the chain reaction occurred, lasting less than 1 microsecond. The radar altimeters used were modified U.S. Army Air Corps APS-13 tail warning radars, nicknamed “Archie”, normally used to warn a fighter pilot of another plane approaching from behind.[30]

But baby, this stuff gets super real super fast and by 1961, the size of the Monster that Dr. Frankenstein had created had gotten totally out of hand and this Beast had to be reeled back in after the following super bomb came about.  But it wasn’t it so much as to what could have come after it and that one is the scariest part of all of this.

And now check out this Super One that was actually tested in 1961-

The Tsar Bomba
The RDS-220 hydrogen bomb, also known as the Tsar Bomba, is the biggest and most powerful thermo nuclear bomb ever made.
It was exploded by the Soviet Union on 30 October 1961 over Novaya Zemlya Island in the Russian Arctic Sea.
This hydrogen bomb was dropped by a Tu-95 bomber using huge fall-retardation parachute.
And here is an exert from-

The Soviet RDS-202 hydrogen bomb (code name Ivan[3] or Vanya), known by Western nations as Tsar Bomba (RussianЦарь-бо́мбаtr. Tsar’-bómbaIPA: [t͡sarʲ ˈbombə]lit. ‘Tsar bomb’), was allegedly the most powerful nuclear weapon ever created. Tested on 30 October 1961 as an experimental verification of calculation principles and multi-stage thermonuclear weapon designs, it also remains the most powerful explosive ever detonated.

The bomb was detonated at the Sukhoy Nos (“Dry Nose”) cape of Severny IslandNovaya Zemlya, 15 km (9.3 mi) from Mityushikha Bay, north of Matochkin Strait.[4][5][6] The detonation was secret but was detected by US Intelligence agencies. The US apparently had an instrumented KC-135R aircraft (Operation SpeedLight[7]) in the area of the test, close enough to have been scorched by the blast.[8][2]

The bhangmeter results and other data suggested the bomb yielded about 58 megatons of TNT [Mt] (240 PJ),[9] and that was the accepted yield in technical literature until 1991 when Soviet scientists revealed that their instruments indicated a yield of 50 Mt (210 PJ).[2] As they had the instrumental data and access to the test site, their yield figure has been accepted as more correct.[8][2] In theory, the bomb would have had a yield in excess of 100 Mt (420 PJ) if it had included a uranium-238 tamper, but because only one bomb was built, that capability has never been demonstrated.

The remaining bomb casings are located at the Russian Atomic Weapon Museum in Sarov and the Museum of Nuclear Weapons, All-Russian Research Institute of Technical Physics, at Snezhinsk

Now, why did I present that to you?

The Blast Yield is the stunning end result is the thing that I wanted to show you.

Do you have any idea how much 50 MegaTons is?

A Megaton is-megaton (1,000,000 tons) to describe their blast energy in equivalent weights of the conventional chemical explosive TNT.

One Million Tons of TNT is one Megaton and so, the TSAR is

50 times One Megaton equals 50 Million Tons of TNT Blast Yield.

Holy Cows!  What does Victor Frankenstein got up his sleeve to create such a super Monster?

Does anyone care to consider how horrific of a Weapon the TSAR is?

And the secondary Bomb that almost got created and tested reported to be capable of being one thousand times more Powerful than the original TSAR means this-

1000 times 50 is 50, 000 Million Tons of TNT BLAST YIELD.

Forget Holy Cows. This one will harvest so much in one bomb that man might be in for a rude awakening and that is why I am talking to you and I am no Righteous Idiot or Pro or Con Bomb person.  I am only a human being trying to help de-code why anyone would go to this extreme?

But they did and it EXISTS today and it is oh, my for sure.

Is this registering in your brain?

Pretty horrific to say the least.

Pretty wicked stuff for sure.

Man has now created a bomb that is so powerful that just one can remove all life and completely clear a Radius, you know-a circle, from five hundred to one thousand miles.  Leaving zero Real Estate with just one?  And that is a BOMB created in 1961.

2019-1961 is 58 years ago.

58 years.  And it is still alive and breathing in its holding cellar.

And you know that this Beast still can’t wait for someone to use him if it were only human.

And then comes all the fallout of Radiation and the destructive impacts on fault lines.  This is where no one really want to tackle this and the bombs could cause unknown World Destruction with one Earthquake after another until Whole Continents just slip under the Seas or Oceans.

Yes, Fault Line Displacement could wreck havoc upon the entire Planet and that is why I wanted all of us to realize what we have created for ourselves.

Pandora’s Box some might say.

Even causing Mankind to disappear in just a single day because if the right fault lines were/ARE triggered in the right order by suddenly Super Disturbing them which is the most untold or discussed Event in all of these Use Of Nuclear Weapons Scenarios Discussions always left out, then sure, the Continents could very easily go underwater and stay there or reappear after so many hours underwater.  Or not reappear at all.

This sort of stuff is the stuff that the Discussions always breeze through hoping that no one important will take some serious thought about this stuff.

Man only presents the Super Destructive Side or Win At All Costs Scenarios and not the other very Serious Consequences.  And are all of us ready to Pay for their USE?

Well, r we?  R u?  I no I am not and I don’t think u r either.  Huh?

And then talk about an uninhabitable planet, Earth would be.

And how?  Just by some bombs?

Hey, we aren’t talking nothing ordinary about these monsters at all.

The Salt Water would basically short-out, like short-circuiting on a computer board, and the land based plants and trees would be engaged just the correct amount, you know, enough time to halt sufficient oxygen production that good ole man needs to live.  The )2 that all of us need to stay alive with. No, man could no longer breath with what was then being produced.  And the birds and animals would be out of luck also.

So, there is a greater reason why man and all of mankind needs to KEEP A LID on the USE OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS.

Man can’t even protect himself from dangerous situations from Nuclear Plants either.  But we all know all about them for sure and those babies are still Cash Monsters grabbing up waste amount of money to keep the damage in check to a degree.

Man used two bombs twice in order to halt a wholesale slaughtering and greater, much greater loss of life and destruction of cities and so on.

But today, no Country is even close to being in that same situation.

Leaders might try to convince their populous that they are in the VERY SAME FIX as was the situation in WWII.

But, that would be a lie.  A great LIE!  No Country is and these Weapons are so incredibly destructive that a Country Using Lower Blast Yield Ones will then face Maximum Blast Yield in return from any Country that they use their bombs on.

In other words this-

Country A has both HIGH AND LOW BLAST YIELD WEAPONS.

Country B has Only HIGH BLAST YIELD WEAPONS.

A uses LOW BLAST YIELD bombs on B.

B then Uses HIGH BLAST YIELD bombs in response on A.

Both A and B then continue to USE HIGH BLAST YIELD weapons on each other.

Once it is started, it cannot be stopped until the Death Toll reaches astronomical Numbers and then both Country A and Country B will be two of the biggest Regretters ever.  Left to be the ones living with absolute regret.

And worse, what if Countries C, D, E, F, and G are brought into the mix as well and tons more bombs are used?

And then would TSAR BOMBS come out of their Cobweb Cellars from 1961?

To use Weapons almost 50-70 years old on all of us?

And then Puff, the World is eradicated of mankind for maybe another million years or even forever.

To me, I see no Winners in the Use of Nuclear Weapons ever again.

Mankind must learn to Get Along with Each other and Man must be able to Bend cause his body and bones are Meant to Bend and so can his mind.  So must his mind.  Using falsities is such a folly upon a Populous.

Ignorance is blessed and Wisdom is funny...a quote by Mo

And who’s quote is that?

That quote is from a Man who befriended me and he asked me to only call him MO.

And who is he?

Mo is a man who left his South American Parents at the age of 15.

He then went to Brazil and two other South American Countries until he got a Visa for teaching an American Ambassador’s children to Swim.

He then came to America on a YMCA Swimming Scholarship.

And he even went to India for three weeks and absolutely hated it because his body does not reflect that of a Black Man or that of a Man from India or a Man from Mexico.

In India, the People there treated him in a bad manner and I asked Mo why was that?

The People in India thought I was Indian and thought I was a traitor for Refusing to talk to them in their Own Language while in India.  It was horrible of me.  His skin  color and facial imagery is unique and not offensive, yet there are many who choose to stay in the Status Quo about everything.

Mo also talks to me weekly and he tells me of how he has had to suffer in his lifetime living in New York City and always having the Issue of Not Being Accepted because of the way he talks and of his unique skin color and body and facial imagery.

Yes, America has a unique way of holding her love back from certain people no matter which State they might live in.  America does that and not one single ethnic group.

He tells me that I am different and that I am a good person for many, many people.

I sure hope so cause I lost my teeth and hate a long time ago.  But I have found many my age being bitter at the World.  It weren’t the World that made them bitter.

But again, Mo is a lovable man and I enjoy his company and that is his quote he told me just today.  Think about it.  It says it all from someone who has been meant to suffer great sufferings in his lifetime.  But out of his suffering, he talks with more wisdom than most of us.

I hope you enjoyed today’s discussion and know that all of us must not let a few Destroy all of Us just cause they can.

Only a Sick Person really wants to see a Nuclear War just to be seeing it and for no other reason.

But for sure, there is a lot of truth about A Bomb Too Far…Man took it A Bomb Too Far!
