The F-117 has been attacking Yemen since January 12, 2024, as part of Operation Poseidon Archer, a series of cruise missile and airstrikes against the Houthi movement. Despite the F-117 type’s official retirement, a portion of the fleet has been kept in airworthy condition, and F-117s have been observed flying since 2009.[4] Especially over Yemen in 2024.
