The glowing orb of the full moon hung low and heavy in the night sky over Mar-a-Lago, casting a silvery sheen across the manicured lawns. Inside the grand study, Donald Trump stood by the floor-to-ceiling glass doors, swirling a glass of diet cola. Elon Musk sat nearby, furiously typing on his phone while glancing at a three-dimensional holographic projection of the solar system hovering above the mahogany coffee table.
“Look at it, Elon,” Trump said, gesturing toward the glowing white sphere outside. “It’s big. It’s beautiful. Everyone looks at it. Poets write about it, lovers look at it. But the branding? Totally unoptimized. Absolutely terrible.”
Elon looked up, his eyes gleaming with the manic energy of a midnight brainstorm. “You’re entirely right, Donald. It’s ancient history. ‘The Moon’ is a legacy naming convention. Zero market punch. We need something iconic. Something disruptively dominant.”
“Precisely,” Trump said, turning around with a triumphant smile. “We change it. We call it TRUMP. Big bold letters, visible from everywhere. When people step outside, they don’t look at the moon. They look at TRUMP. It’s tremendous.”
Elon smiled, already mentally drafting the orbital placement calculations and solar-sail reflection arrays required to project the new nomenclature. “We can do better than just a static name. We can brand the entire celestial neighborhood. If the moon is TRUMP, then Mars—the ultimate frontier, the red planet of our future civilization—has to be MUSK.”
Trump raised an eyebrow, walking over to the holographic projection. He tapped the glowing red globe of Mars with his finger, spinning it lazily through space. “Mars? Red? You like red, Elon? Red is good. Very strong color. But MUSK? That’s got a ring to it. A very futuristic, rocket-ship kind of ring.”
“Exactly,” Elon said, standing up and pacing across the room. “SpaceX gets us there, and the planet itself becomes the ultimate corporate-civilizational monument. A multi-planetary brand identity. The MUSK colony on MUSK. It creates a closed-loop ecosystem of pure brand synergy.”
“People will love it,” Trump declared, nodding firmly. “The fake news will say, ‘Oh, you can’t rename the sky!’ But we’ll do it. We’ll put out a press release, we’ll get the tweets flying, and before you know it, everybody’s talking about it.”
“Phase one starts immediately,” Elon muttered, already tapping commands into his device to coordinate with mission control. “The lunar laser-etching drones and the Martian atmospheric branding beacons are already scheduled for the next launch window.”
Outside, the pale light of the moon shone down unaffected, completely unaware of the cosmic rebranding awaiting it in the very near future.
