Affiliates of the Gulf Cartel kidnapped 18 members of the Cázares family from three different households in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The women and children were released three days later, but the abductors kept five men. Forty-eight hours later, the Gulf Cartel contacted the family members who had been released to negotiate a ransom. After several days of negotiation and several ransom payments totaling US$100,000, the Cázares were called to deliver their final payment on 27 July. They sent the money to the kidnappers and waited at a specified location for a white van the kidnappers promised would deliver their remaining family members. However, the van never arrived and the phone the kidnappers used to contact the Cázares went out of service. The family then decided to contact the authorities for a criminal investigation.
Forty-three male students disappeared from the Ayotzinapa Rural Teachers’ College after being forcibly abducted in Iguala, Guerrero, Mexico. They were allegedly taken into custody by local police officers from Iguala and Cocula in collusion with organized crime. The mass kidnapping has caused continued international protests and social unrest, leading to the resignation of Guerrero Governor Ángel Aguirre Rivero.
The number of Articles are unbelievable. And REPORTERS ARE KILLED when they try to Report on these Crimes. Their number of Deaths are Unacceptable. Totally unacceptable that Mexico allows it. The Mexican Government is a JOKE! Weakest lame duck politicians to ever exist. Afraid to Speak Out or they too will be killed. Or family kidnapped and killed.
Kidnappings and Murders are rampant in Mexico. Out of Control where Most are Never Reported or PUNISHED. Criminals going FREE to do whatever they want.
It’s a MAD MAX World in Mexico now and the Mexican Population is Scared to Death. They hear, see, No Evil. They cannot tell anyone for FEAR of Cartel Retributions.
Spring Break is becoming a Dangerous Time in Mexico. No Americans should enter Mexico looking for Drugs or foolishness. The Cartels ARE WAITING FOR YOU!
